FloatCam Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
FloatCam is a camera app that records you in a floating window while you use other apps. This policy explains what the app accesses and what leaves your device.
Your videos stay on your device
Everything you record is saved to your phone's own gallery (DCIM/Camera). FloatCam has no account system and no servers of its own. We never upload, view or store your videos, audio or images.
Permissions
- Camera and microphone — to record video and sound, only while you are recording.
- Display over other apps — to show the floating camera window and recording controls.
- Notifications — to show recording status and let you know when a video is saved.
Face detection happens on your device
The optional auto 9:16 framing uses Google ML Kit face detection to find your face position. The analysis runs entirely on your phone; camera frames are never sent anywhere.
Diagnostic data collected by Google ML Kit
The ML Kit library may send Google limited technical data for diagnostics and usage analytics: device information (manufacturer, model, OS version), app package name and version, a per-installation identifier that does not identify you, performance metrics and error codes. It does not include your videos or images. The data is encrypted in transit and is handled under Google's Privacy Policy.
Children
FloatCam is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.

人脸检测在本地完成
可选的「自动 9:16 构图」使用 Google ML Kit 在手机本地识别人脸位置，画面不会被发送到任何地方。
Google ML Kit 收集的诊断数据
ML Kit 组件可能向 Google 发送有限的技术数据，用于诊断和使用统计：设备信息（厂商、型号、系统版本）、App 包名和版本、不能识别你身份的安装标识、性能指标和错误代码。这些数据不包含你的视频或图片，传输时加密，并适用 Google 隐私政策。
儿童
FloatCam 不面向 13 岁以下儿童，也不会有意收集其个人信息。
